SOS Villages d’enfants Maroc

Education

Morocco

Created in 1984, SOS Children’s Villages Morocco is a charity that provides long-term care for children who are in emergency situations, are orphaned or have been abandoned.

The children’s villages are developments of 10 to 15 houses where children taken in at a young age are invited to come and live with a professional foster mother. Around 8 children grow up together in each house, forming unbreakable sibling bonds.

With the Foundation and its Friends

The Club Med Foundation supports the Aït Ourir children’s village near Marrakech through various programmes (Amitiés Sans Frontières [Friendships Without Borders], Worldwide Snack Party, providing use of swimming pools, Helping Through Holidays, physical donations, etc.)

The funds raised are used to support various projects depending on the charity’s current priorities.
